Fairisle Slipover

Knitted in the Shetland Islands from pure Shetland wool, our Fairisle Slipover is a traditional sleeveless knit with a classic V-neck and richly patterned Fairisle design. Warm without unnecessary bulk, it is an ideal layering piece over a shirt and beneath a tweed jacket.

The intricate Fairisle pattern creates numerous floats of yarn across the inside of the garment, giving this style a slightly snugger fit than our classic Shetland knitwear. We therefore recommend sizing up. For example, if you normally wear a Medium in our Classic Shetland Crew, we would recommend a Large in the Fairisle Slipover.
