Casentino Fleece Gilet

Sale Price£355.00 Regular Price£395.00
Only 2 Available

Our Casentino Fleece Gilet is made in Spain from high-quality Casentino wool—a heritage fabric dating back to the Middle Ages, renowned for its warmth, durability and distinctive brushed finish. Often referred to as “boiled wool,” the fabric undergoes a fulling process that shrinks the yarn by around 30%, resulting in a dense, felted texture with a contemporary look.

Designed in a country style with inverted box pleat pockets, the gilet can be worn with the collar standing tall or folded down like lapels for a more refined silhouette. Ideal as a layering piece—over a jumper in winter or a brushed cotton shirt in spring. Due to the nature of the fabric, we recommend sizing up if wearing over bulkier layers (e.g. a 42” chest would take a size Large).
